In order for a gravel driveway or stone driveway to function correctly it should be laid on the correct base (sub surface). Without this gravel will move causing rutting and the sub base will appear through the gravel.
We lay all our gravel and stone driveways on the correct base so you will not encounter any of the above problems. As with all surfaces, the construction of the sub base is critical to the long term wear of the surface and we pride ourselves in ensuring that this is laid correctly.
